Sung Joon & Hye Jin

   This meme pretty much sum up why I love this drama. It is somewhat like a fairytale - falling in love again with your first love and having a happily ever after with them. Seem not likely to happen but it did in this drama. The hopeless romantic in me is a sucker for these type of drama.

   It has been a while since I like a couple in a drama as much as I like Hye Jin (HJ) & Sung Joon (SJ). I love watching SJ fall in love with the real HJ. Episode 6 has to be my favorite. Knowing that he kind of got her sick, he went to get her medicine. He tries to give it to her but dodging here and there whenever someone come near her. He tries to act cool and stuff but I am here giggling at how cute he was.

Of course, he was not fast enough and Shin Hyuk (SH) gave her the medicine first. But then he didnt just give up like that he left her an onion and she later found out it was from him. She drew a smile on it and he saw it and smile at it. Haha even the chief editor mistaking that he is dating

   He continue to act strange the whole day. Talk to the onion saying he wont smile and then HJ came and he tries to act cool by doing stretch. I was dying on the floor laughing at him. HJ took some medicine so she was drowsy and she almost fell over but he was fast enough to be his hand pillow. The way he stare at her, I seriously think he want to kiss her. If it isnt Ah Reum coming in disturbing his train of thoughts and dropping HJ's head LOL

Then they all left and HJ is still sleepy so he park his car somewhere got on the bus with her and make sure she got off the right stop. By the time he get back to his car, it was tolled. That was so sweet. That night he made himself a smiling onion and again smile at it like an idiot. Oh SJ you are too cute. The onion did end up in the trash after the fake HJ confuse him but I was excited to see it reappear in episode 11! Long Live True Love

 The next day the boy cannot keep his eyes off her. She caught him looking at her and he look away so cute

   While they were talking about the business trip and Han Seol didnt want to go, so she suggest HJ. The way that SJ look so interested it was so obvious that he is looking forward to more time with HJ. 

   SJ is also very honest. I love when he finally come in terms of his feeling how many times he confess to her. At his house while rolling her sleeves for her; at the playground when she finally told him that Ha Ri like him and at the picnic site. When he told her, he live with regret for losing her for 15 years and now that he found her he want to spend all the next 15 years, and the 15 years after that with her. I seriously swoon. I know it was cheesy but SJ was so sincere.

 

  

HJ is such a caring friend.  She know that SH like her but she know she cannot like him back so when she is so desperate to rush to the hospital to see SJ she refuse his offer for a ride for it is like rubbing salt on a wound taking the one you love to another man. She is so considerate. I did feel bad for SH but like HJ my heart is toward SJ (okay bias of course too since SJ is PSJ). 

   I love how well she know him. She know he is suffering with all the staff leaving and the pressure from NY headquarters so she wait for him in the parking lot to give him a hug in episode 13. This is also one reason why I love HJ over Mi-So. I seriously think both SJ and YJ just need a hug but Mi-So never initiate the hug so I am glad SJ have HJ to hug him. 

After they think the fate of the magazine is pretty much doom, SJ left the party early to go back to the MOST office. HJ follow and SJ was tired so he lay on her lap and she just cried over him knowing how much pressure he have gone through by himself.

    When these two are dating, there are absolutely adorable. I love watching SJ tease HJ that she was expecting another kiss when they were at the hospital. HJ was trying to explain herself and the boy kiss her three times and her reaction all three times are so cute.

 

   Then when they steal kiss from each other during their basketball date in episode 14. I die from the cuteness

 

   While they were doing long distance, their first skype call when they realized that they have 11 months before they see each other. How they both whine, I giggle like crazy.

   When SJ finally came back and they spent a night at her parents, the bed scene was one of my favorite. HJ wait until her sister is asleep and slide up the door to peek at SJ. The boy is right next to the door waiting for her

   Then of course their waving at each other and SJ pulling himself closer to the door so he can be as close as possible to her earning him a giggle. Seriously they are like two lovesick teenagers but you cant help but smile at them

   He then extend his hand to her and she took it with both hands. The two of them then continue staring at each other as they sleep. How can I not fall in love with them.

   They didn't share as much mouth to mouth kisses compare to YJ and MS in WWWSK but I like all their kisses - mouth to mouth, forehead, cheeks, hands. Now I sound like a kissing maniac

She was pretty

   Since getting into PSJ, I want to watch his other work. She was pretty was rank pretty high as his top drama according to some youtube video. Also I was on the fangirlverdict website and she gave She was Pretty (SWP) a grade of A but What Wrong with Secretary Kim (WWWSK) a grade of B. I thought WWWSK was pretty good. Saw some instagram post of She was pretty and didn't seem that interesting but decide to give it a try. I did heard a lot of people fell in love with Si Won's character instead so I was a little nervous as well but my love for Park Seo Joon was stronger.

   I didn't find it that interesting as first. In fact, I thought Hye Jin was kind of loud and oh my gosh Sung Joon is so mean. If it is not for my love for PSJ I would have giving up on this one by episode 3 but I persevere. I am glad I did. There is so much feel for this drama especially when Sung Joon stare at Hye Jin.

   Later I found out they play siblings in Kill Me Heal Me and Seo Joon actually like Jung Eum's character. Oh my gosh this MV, there is so much pain and feel. Seeing him sad pain my fangirl heart.

   Anyway I finished she was pretty and I still cant get over the drama. I never thought I will like it as much as I do and I never thought I will like Hwang Jung Eum (HJE) to be with PSJ. What drama can do to you!

Park Seo Joon

   Since watching WWWSK (What's Wrong with Secretary Kim), I just can't help and like Park Seo Joon. So I was just curious what is he like he real life. So hence like any new fangirl I google and read all about him and watch videos. How can he be so handsome and have such down to earth personality and did I mention he is shy in real life. Which also kind of confused me, those are some pretty bold sex scenes he did in Secretary Kim. He cant be shy. He must be acting!

   But regardless, I waw this video of him at the fan meeting in HK in 2017 and oh my gosh. I swoon like crazy watching it. His handsomeness and shyness is so freaking adorable

  I particular like it when the MC comment to the audience that he is really good looking. And then when she try to teach him how to speak in Cantonese. It was so cute. He got it pretty close though. Then she also comment that during the press conference she comment that he have such a nice body and face and he shyly said thank you. Awww so cute. When she ask everyone to said pretty boy in cantonese, he laugh and blush. The MC then ask if the fan can said he is handsome in Korean and after they said that he response thank you in Cantonese. Oh my goodness he is so cute.

   I love white dog the fact he have one I just went a little crazier.

   The MC asked how he summons him. Awww the way he call Simba. I want to be his dog. The MC then comment maybe next life when we reincarnate we can be your dog. The boy just laugh. He seem kind of shy but approachable and down to earth.

   Then I found out he is the new endorser for Gong Cha and I love Gong Cha. Saw this on IG and how can I said no.

  Also found out he is the "nation boyfriend". Not entirely sure what that means but I am not surprise why he is deemed as every girl ideal boyfriend. Can he be mine? I love this ad that he did. Seriously how can you not know you are "nation boyfriend".

What's Wrong with Secretary Kim?

   The question more is what is wrong with me. I never got into K-drama for I find Korean men to be too loud but I was bored and the trailer for this drama look interesting plus it is just 16 episodes. So why not?

   From the trailer, I think Park Min Young look so pretty. I didn't find Park Seo Joon (PSJ) that handsome in the trailer or in the poster. But it was his character Lee Young Joon that I love about this drama. He is so handsome in suits. And I just love the hair. It bring out his boyish looks.  

   Yes he is a narcissist and just love himself. I don't like this type of character but PSJ make him likeable and funny. Some of the lines that he deliver I just flat out split water everywhere.

And when he acts all shy and cute. I am so dead

 And then he does silly things to cover his embarrassment. 

Like when his staff caught him telling Mi So, she will be her gf at the end of that weekend. He quickly grab something to stuff into his mouth

When your best friend walk in on you, he jump to the other side of the lamp post. 

SPOILER ALERT

   Young Joon (YJ) character went through a lot. Bearing the trauma of the kidnap and witnessing a woman commit suicide at the age of 9 by himself and then pretend he lost his memory so that his mom commit suicide. Seriously I just want to jump into the screen to hug the poor boy and to live with the torment of his older brother that he is the victim when YJ is the victim. It is a miracle he is so successful. Yes he live with nightmare, fear of cable ties and wont let girls touch him but at least he can still love himself and become VP of the company. Awww Mr. Lee why are you so considerate

   He deserve all the love and I am glad he got it from Kim Mi So who is such a sweet girl. He is so traumatized that the poor man cant even kiss the woman he likes. He try three times and three times it all fail. First time, Mi So was so angry and embarrassed by it. The treatment that he got so funny. Having Mr. Yang come and help him tied his ties. LOL. Don't get on the bad side of Ms. Kim!

  The second time, Mi So is so considerate making a joke out of it.

  The third time was when Mi So finally confessed and tell him she also like him. He try to kiss and couldn't and our heroine seeing that initiate the kiss and it was one of the kiss that I am telling you I almost cry

Captain of Destiny: Episode 29 & 30

I love all the 11th Prince and Ha Sim scenes!!!

When they are pretty sure they might die. Ha Sim assure him that in her next life she would serve him again. 11 asked her is that all you want to be - my maid in the next life. Ha Sim look like she is blushing. Oh his directness it is kind of cute. Not sure where it came from that he suddenly ask the question but it made me think of Ruco's ending theme song next century. Everyone assume it is about him and WTM but I start to suspect it might be about him and Ha Sim since they can't be together this life as a master/servant relationship and I notice they play that song in a lot of their scenes. Hehe I know over analyzing

While they are going to the river, the way Ha Sim stare at him and he later notice the way she was embarrassed. I squealed like crazy. And then he nod toward her signaling that he is okay thanks for your concern. Ha Sim relieve he is ok smile and continue looking at him.

And of course I love the whole scene in which he ask her when did she start liking him. Oh my goodness he is so direct. Poor Ha Sim she was shocked, startled and blushing.

She didn't really answer him but recall all the times he save her from Fok Yee Tai and Hon Yong how he take to heart her life/death and the injustice that she go through. She is happy to sacrifice for him and to go through the ups and down with him. She know she is just a maid so she know she doesn't deserve to love him. 11th Prince ask if he can give her the privilege or if she can give him the privilege. Okay basically he is asking if he can love her. Faint!!! I love how tenderly he touch her face and wipe away her tears

YAY I know it is kind of late but my fangirl heart was too happy because he deserve a woman like Ha Sim not that WTM who again and again don't trust him and break his heart

I love the whole horse riding. How she wrap her arms around him. It was very subtle but in a way their intimidate way of saying they will be together from now on. And of course the way they both smile. Awww

I also like the conversation they were having - what they will be doing when they get to England. They will open a ranch and raise a thousand or so pig so Ha Sim can have her stewed pork. He was saying all these season except winter what they will be doing and then Ha Sim ask what about about winter. He then say whoa I need to depend on you to make me babies. Okay I faint. He is so direct and I think Ha Sim is blushing hiding behind his back but also happy to start a family with him.

And of course while they are battling the whole speech he gave and just happy that at the end he has Ha Sim with him. He have no regret. I hope they didn't die...
